Helmet/body Facing Gopro Mount Options

I've been trying to determine where a good helmet/body facing mount point would be on my bike. I ride a ZX6R, so mounting on my handle bars might be a bit tricky. I've also heard that you can expect a substantial amount of camera shake if you mount directly to the windscreen.

What have your guys' experiences been like?

Seen a few people use the mirror which seems to be a good option.
I used the left hand mirror and mounted the camera on the bar end in a vid a few days back, it had the camera look at me through the mirror and IMO looked ace, downside was I couldn't use the mirror to see behind me that side of the bike as it had a camera in the way, but looked cool all the same! :-)

This is a problem that I face somewhat. Because I ride a naked bike with flatish bars, I can't really get the camera forward enough to get a good view, so it tends to cut part of me off no matter what I do.

I have thought about putting a extension on to move it forward, but I don't want to look stupid because lets face it motorcycling is 70% fashion and style.

By the mirror seems best. I am on a harley now but I mount mine both on the mirror and on the bars with a ram mount depending on my mood haha. I don't get bad vibration in either spot.

Ugh, the clamp is too big for my mirrors. I have an 07 ZX6R, and the arms are skinnier than a hipster's jeans. Anyone know of any decent GoPro bar/mirror mounts that will tighten down a lot? Like down to an 1/8th of an inch, lot.

Everywhere shakes, windscreen or mirrors. Most just use 3M adhesive on the screen, I think it's the easiest and cleanest. Mirror arms are tiny, clamping on them is tricky. You're welcome to test it out though. Ride safe, safe ride!

When you say use 3M adhesive, where would you put it exactly or do you mean using a GoPro mount that has 3M adhesive already?

In my experience on the windscreen near the bottom works best. The farther you get from the mounting point the more the windscreen vibrates. Mount it low and angle it up and it shouldn't be too bad. Check out some of my videos to see how well it works. Occasionally you'll see a little vibration in the videos but most of the time there's none at all.

On mf GFs bike she wrapped a shitload of Duck Tape around the mirror arm, so the diameter is large enough for the mount. Works like a charm.

I meant using those GoPro mount with the 3M adhesive backing. Nice shot though with the mirror position. Having too many cameras might be a distraction while riding so bear that in mind. :)
