im randomHEROtim im new to the motovlog world i just made my first one the other day. so its not as good as most but im gonna get there one day. im excited to get to know all of you and all that.

its in my signiture, i said bad words in my vlog. like a lot and my next one wont have any i swear. lol like there is a lot i put a warning on the video cause there is so many. so if you judge ive warned you in advanced. ha

thank you so much means a lot. yeah, im trying to keep it between 4-5 mins long. first one was just hard to edit down, now that i know camera set up and mic set up work really well they will get better. that vlog i wasnt even sure if it would be audible cause my bike is loud (its beetween exhausts) so its only half on it sounds like a harley hah. so i kind of winged my first video. so next ones will havelittle to no swearing and easier to watch now that i some-what know what im doing. i.e better camera angle and topics will be thought out a bit more.

the exhaust is chopped it sounds like a harley right now. its insanly loud. my mic is in the pads so it kills alot of noise (thankfully) i didnt think i would be able to vlog cause of how loud it actually is. and thank you for the complament

You can plan your channel mileage beforehand.
Think something like, at 10 videos you'll do a special compilation for example, 20 will be a challenge, 30 will be a shootout, 40 will be a contest, 50 will be a give-away.

Don't get too attached to sub counts and don't check statistics or analytics about your vids until you have been at least 3 months on the tubes. Otherwise you may get your vlogger soul taken away.

derailing my own thread but what do you guys do during the winter season? i live in kentucky so it isnt really a snowy winter but there is ice and all that. i dont consider my self a fair weather rider only but, winter and super cold sucks to ride in. how do you guys maintain vlogs and uplaods if you cant ride every week?

Trick is, which in itself can be difficuilt, is to try n film 'As much' as u can. You wont use alot, but you then have whats called in the industry 'Stock footage'. You can use the non used stuff for 'Snippets' of different topics, POV's, or even just different angles/footage to finish off something you making.

So if you think of the avg time of some Vloggers (NOT me!! lol), you have about 5min to fill for an episode, BUT when do you go out and film 5min only? so that 30min trip to work, or the 3hr trip to get some milk (sunny dayz ) you can see what i mean.

Think of 'How many' times youve seen a Royal on the cover of a gossip magazine, old pic but never seen. The Paparazzi have some Lady Diana shots from WAY back, keep em cashed-up till retirement!?!?

i set out to vlog. i don't really have a destination when i ride. so my footage could potentially last me forever if i didn't delete all the extra i had. next time ill have to keep all of i and make a couple vlogs out of it or something. then sit on it and pull it out when i need it. thanks for your input.
