Hello From Los Angeles!

I recently started a local Meetup group for beginner motorcycle riders and post ride recap videos as a fun bonus for the riders that RSVP'd. Figured it would be fun to share the videos with others that also love to record and edit their ride videos! We ride the Malibu canyons mostly, but recently took trips through Palos Verdes and Angels Crest Highway. In terms of gear, I use a GoPro Hero5 with a Giant Squid mic, also use a GoPuck battery pack to keep it charged (thanks Suburban Delinquent!).

Anyway, I created a YouTube channel not to long ago and have a couple videos up there, I included it on my profile section, so please take a look! Looking forward to contributing to the site and meeting all of you.

Jealous you can legally lane split out there! I'm waiting on Vegas to legalize it

I don't get why lane splitting is an issue in any country/state. It makes sense, it reduces congestion and is better for the environment!

Thanks @HippoDrone and @Squeaky P! Yeah, California officially putting legal lane-splitting on the books was a big factor in finally getting a bike. My daily commute would take upwards of an hour each way by car, with the bike I'm door to door in half the time Most of the drivers are good about making room between lanes 1 and 2 on the highway, but Hell-LA is its own beast and all sorts of crazy happens on the roads everyday. I posted a near miss from earlier this week on my instagram @meechyclean, if i was 10 seconds ahead, I probably would have been side-swiped by a Prius.
