Headlight Beam Check Uk

Does anyone know of instructions to make your own chart or a printable one online for checking your headlight beam.

Long story but need to do this before Friday as mine failed the MOT on it and have fixed the headlight bulb shield but need to double check the beam is still correct. Else I get a second fail on MOT and the expense of the new headlight. And no the local garage won't do it as a favour before you ask.

I go on the garage wall. As long as it's not pointing up and not too much to the right, mine seems to pass each time as I keep twiddling the beam to suit myself.

Did you get sorted ? Most fail for not pointing a fraction to the left aka offside
