Haven't Received My V5 Yet

Hey guys, bought my bike back in December from a dealer (who I can't stand after telling me there was nothin wrong with my bike and is a bit forgetful) but still haven't received my V5 from the DVLA. I do have Section 10 I think it is, so should I wait another few weeks or just send that bit off and hope the DVLA hurry it up.

Might be trading my bike in so would like it soonish.

Give the dvla a ring mate, easiest way. I had to do this cpl weeks ago and it seems the computer had read the new keeper address details wrong and sent it somewhere else!

A ring wouldn't hurt, but if you bought it late December and you're still waiting now then that's pretty normal.

If you bought it early December then definitely ring.

Agreed. I bought an old bike for a winter bike, saw the guy post the Old V5 on the 14th of december I think it was. I didnt get mine until the beggining of this month. I'm sure friz will know why it takes so long but I don't

I bought my bike on the 5th of Jan and had my V5 on the 2nd of Feb, guess I was lucky!

i sold my GZ125 to a fella back in october, thanks to DVLA cock ups the NO only got it at the end of January. then again, i have the worst luck when it comes to paperwork!

Christ that's a long time. I've usually got the V5's pretty quick. I'm beginning to wonder if the guy in the shop actually sent it off because the guy is about 80 and I nearly left with the bike without signing any paperwork. I had to remind him!
