Have you ever ridden a cruiser?

I own a cruiser ( Victory Vegas) and my Ducati. Currently in Asia, so only have my Ducati with me. Once I get back to the states, I will start vlogging with my Victory as well. @MrFalloffalot - Victory might be expensive in OZ, but pretty damn cheap in the states. I bought my '13 Vegas 8ball for 12K USD out the door with tax. I'm also not a Harley hater, I have owned a Harley n the past, as well as a Star/Yamaha. That said, IMHO the Victory offered a lot of BANG for the BUCK.

It's all I ride when I have the choice. If I have to putz around town I'll ride the Buell but If I want to have fun, I ride my Lo.

i just started started riding like 6 months ago. a month ago i started motovlogging. i ride a 2013 honda shadow aero. i love it for a cruiser. to me its a prefect first bike if your into that bike.

I feel the same way.
While there could have been many 1st bikes, I think mine is just perfect. It answers so many questions and is so versatile, it's hard to imagine a better 1st bike for me. It's plenty fast for highway speeds, it is comfortable enough for long distance travel (maintenance records it came with show it's been across the country several times), it's simple and easy to work on, etc., etc.

The more I ride it and learn about it, the more I like it. October 3rd was my 1 year anniversary. :)

Doesn't really tickle my fancy, not my riding style, works for some, but not all. Still an interesting topic, I know many who've never venture out and rode something different.

<--- yes. i had to madify to my likings, but i love it. i can have more fun and goof off more on it. on sport bikes i feel too much like an accessory hanging onto the tank. but then again, i'm weird. ride what fits ya best.

For some reason, I don't feel as one with my cruiser than when I used to ride my trail bike as a kid. Never had a sport bike, but I imagine the more more forward position synchronises you and the bike more. I watch some sports bikers nip past and in between cars at 70mph easily, while I just don't feel my Virago provides the confidence to do that safely.

Having said that, I love just sitting back, relaxing, watching the world go by, and not needing to twist the throttle all the time. Love it.

Cruiser rider since day one. Started on a Honda Shadow 600. Though I would love to try out other styles of bikes. They all intrigue me.

I've taken a mate's Iron 883 around the block, that's about it. I suppose its nice if you're into that kind of thing, but then "nice" is not what biking is to me.

No I haven't although I think it would be very different compared to my supersport. I donno if I would like it

I had one just a a week ago. Riding position was actually too relaxed for my lower back. Do miss the sound though.

Yes i have, a few harleys, a yamaha variant. My dad had a yamaha royale (not a cruiser perse but the same principle)

Everything else i own is slow, plus i dont like piloting i recliner down the highway
