Hand Sign For "i'm Stranded And I Need Your Help." ?

I've had my bike break down on me once someplace where I had no signal to call for help. I had to wave at other riders to stop for help. The obvious response was them waving back.

I found this problem when I moved to the States. In Russia if a biker sees an another biker staying on a side part of a road, he probably would stop and ask if help is needed.

In the States I would suggest to put your helmet to the ground and wave with your hand

The uk are arseholes except for bikers,we tend to do the thumbs up and shake it, if they say no,we stop

In Switzerland they always stop to see if you're OK if you're off the bike and not admiring a view.

I have stopped in the past to assist a motorcyclist, but he said he could make it to the gas station, which wasn't far away at that point. Whenever I get on a bike I am not just going to ride on either unless the situation is such I can not make a safe stop.

I've only had trouble a couple of times, but each time I've had multiple bikers and cars stop to check. Sounds like you need to move to a city with friendlier people lol.

If I want people to come over to help or something, I make eye contact, wave and point at my bike. Works most of the times

I stopped for a couple of guys at the side of the road just the other day. They were obviously working on one of the bikes. They said it was carb trouble and they could manage. Good job coz I would have be no help, but the thought was there
