That sounds cool.

If you do it right, it looks like the TV flashes onto the video and then the video zooms in, all pretty seamlessly. I like the effect, and may use it in the future if needed.

Yep just look for a 'screen replacement' tutorial for whatever editing program you use.

LOL, that would've been a good idea when I was coming up with the effect. I just sort of threw it together in a learn-as-you-go moment, like most of my effects.

I just watched a video on YT earlier today that showed how to do drop shadows in Resolve... it takes literally 5 seconds. I had been doing it in a manner that took upwards of 5 minutes, got that down to about 1-2 minutes, and this blows THAT out of the water. SMH.

'Learn as you go' is a good way to learn. As you go :)

Yeah, except the way I find to do something... well, it may just be a time-suck compared to other ways.

Take the "Master Bins" in Resole, for instance. I've been wasting my time importing watermarks, intro vids, etc., when I could've just thrown them in the MB and dragged them onto any project I'm working on. Oops.
