So i made the move back to PC from mac...


only for a short time tho. lol

THe new lappy is a asus x52j
so wont be uploading some vids untill i figure out the best programs to edit in :)

anyadvice?

I use videopad because it's free, but Sony Vegas is good, and adobe premier pro is reasonably close in the way it works to Final Cut.

I find Windows Movie Maker to be pretty good, then I just run it through Handbrake to reduce the file size. Best of all, no money involved.

cool beans, I just sorted my dad out with a new Asus lappy, great spec for price.

I use Sony Vegas, takes a little time to get your head around but then the basics are pretty simple. I hear good things about windows movie maker.

windows movie maker is a killer with the wmv video file.

Handbrake is your friend on that count. Converts the format and shrinks it massively.
