Gopro Placement On Variant

I just recently acquired a GoPro Hero 3+ and am going to make it my primary vlogging rig to replace my aging Drift HD1080, but I'm not sure of the best way to mount it on my Icon Variant. If anyone here is running a similar setup would you mind sharing a pic? I'm hoping to not cover too much of the helmet graphic like my Drift has. Thanks in advance!

If you already have a Drift pad on it, then using the Drift universal adaptor and a GoPro Tripod adaptor with an elbow, you can mount it in the same place.

If a GoPro mount, then the pad is smaller, and elbows allow you more flexibility in where you put the mount, best bet is to get an elbow and see what works with the FOV, and find a happy medium.
