Why have a brick stuck to the side of your head... why not have the camera in your eye like this?

I'm really looking forward to seeing how well these fit inside a motorcycle helmet.

I've already been saying I'd buy them the day they come out, but I'm pretty certain the microphone won't be good enough for vlogging and the FoV won't be great enough to capture much of the road.

We will have to wait and see! But either way, I'm very excited as to how Google Glass will work.

Well M13 used a similar pair of shades inside his helmet and they worked pretty good... I wear sunglasses inside my helmet from time to time and that works dandy. I can't see that being a problem As for wind protection on the mic... well that's a secondary thing. I personally like the idea of being able to take the lid off and take a walk around into intricate places without looking like a penis with my helmet still on in order to capture the view.

I record my audio separately to my video stream and synch in post. I record with the level set to -15dB and a decent windshield, makes a large difference! Currently my Tascam is off in the US being replaced so happy audioland is off the books for the near future.
