General GoldMine Road - PA's Tail of the Dragon!

In my latest video I ride one of the best twisty roads in all of PA: Gold Mine Road.

It has elevation changes, it has hairpins, it has sweeping curves, it's awesome. Located near Swatara State Park, Gold Mine Road is a favorite among motorcycle riders in PA. It's often called PA's Tail of the Dragon, especially when combined with Rt.125 above it. It's definitely one of my favorite Pennsylvania roads to ride!

That's not terribly far from me, and since I just rode out to Pittsburgh from Philly last Summer, it's a possibility.

Sure Scooter, from Philly it's only about two hours to the bottom of Goldmine Road. A little bit longer if you take the scenic way there!

Hahaha! No but I'm considering doing a series where I rent and review bikes from twisted road. If anyone wants to come to LA I'll show you around!

I won't make a new post as I don't want to spam the VLOG forum, but I uploaded part 2 of the PA Tail of the Dragon today, PA Route 125 which is a continuation of Gold Mine Road above. Together the two roads make up what some consider to be one of the best rides in all of PA.
