Howdy peeps. RunnER6n going to be start motovlogging very soon. Thought it would be a good time to say hi to everyone.

Welcome bud! Can't wait to see some of the Gold Coast views on your vlogs!

Cheers. Showing the world what it literally at my doorstep is part of the intention.

Ranbling to myself and editing is going to be a big learning curve for me. Especially since i am generally not an artsy/creative person. But hey it is more about the fun of riding.

First motovlog went up last night finally. Damn slow internet meant about 9 hours to upload.

I can't post links on here yet, but if you search for me on twitter you will find a link to the vid there.

damn takes you almost an hour to upload a minute.

Yeah unfortunately. Australia sucks for internet speeds in a lot of areas.
The file was just short of 900mb for almost 9mins of video at 1080 60 fps.
i wont like that, that really sucks dude. do you live in a more remote area or something?

Not remote at all in my book. Just an area where the only telco provider that has infrastructure doesn't like to upgrade their stuff.

The Aus Gov is working with NBN Co to rollout a mixed technology High Speed Broadband. eg. FTTN using copper pair that exists to the premise, FTTP, Cable (existing), Sat, Wireless
New developments might get FTTP (approx 100Mbs), but rollout of this to existing developments is difficult and expensive. FTTN also has it's down falls, some nodes are just not capable of handling high speed fibre and they are having to be upgraded at the time of rollout or later.

It is what it is, i love where i live there are so many places to ride really close to home.
