Ghost-s 1.0.2.1

Didn't they used to have a section on what the update was? I'd like to know what it fixes and who has tried it first. I'd probably want 1.0.0.0 to hand as well in case I needed to revert.

I didnt see your post sorry, I put another post on. I contact Drift and they said that the developer was on holiday and they will ask him when he returns on Monday as they don't know. They will then put a message out.

It's been out for what, 3 years now? Surprised they haven't done something before.

It's a pretty stable camera bar occasional SD card glitches causing a crash. Either they've sorted that or there's a feature update.

What I would like to see is the aliasing effect reduced in the 1080 60 fps mode. I always shoot in 1080 30 fps because of it. When you see people who use the 60 fps the bright straight lines such as white road lines are jagged.

I got itchy feet and updated my Ghost S.

Update went fine. Took 2 minutes.
Quick try out at home shows it working. Will use on way to work tomorrow to see if stable.

Straight from the read me file.

IMPROVEMENTS

1. Wi-Fi Shortcut: Press and hold the „MENU“ button to turn Wi-Fi on & off more
comfortable.
2. mproved RTSP feed: Live preview on DR FT Connect App works better and
faster.
3. Additional Language Package for Danish, Finnish, Norwegian & Swedish (separate
folder).
4. Additional Language Package for Czech, Hungarian, Polish & Russian (separate
folder).

What SD card you using Shifty?

I think the only time mine has crashed is when I've hit record without giving it time to initialise properly.

Yes, also I dont use high bit rate, and one of the cards I tried was crap. PKNY or something like that a 64G was fine too, until I dropped it and the hotel maid hoovered it up.

I never use high bit rate as 1080 30 or 60 @256 meets my requirements and it absorbed too much memory. As I understood it my playback software uses a standard codec 256 so it's pointless for me personally as it gets converted in playback. High bit rate crashes reduced when I lowered from 1080 to 720 in my experiments. But I think it's naughty to advertise the camera when it can't cope at the extremes that it's tech spec says it can!
If I remember it also wasn't as good on sxdc cards in high bit rate but was better in shdc
