Sorry if this topic has been covered before. I'm a new vlogger and was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get your channel noticed. Other than the obvious things such as good content and your basic social networking I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For motovlogging, that's just about the only two big ingredients. Be yourself and have fun with what you do, it will show through your videos/work and people will appreciate that. Unless you do what a lot of the mainstream motovloggers do and learn wheelies and post wreckless riding videos to appeal to a lot of the younger (the larger) audience.

Now for search engine optimization and ...that's a whole 'nother ball park but the information is out there

Thanks for the reply. I have pretty much outgrown wreckless behavior (for the most part;)) and I can't wheelie (yet) so I'll have rely on content. Thanks again.

Keep making video, as regularly as you can. Don't upload a video every day, you gone loose motivation to make videos and to make them good. Also your audience might not even watch them(if there's too many).

Be active, so that other (hopefully) big bloggers gone sub to you and maybe mention you in a video.

Meetup with other "Motovloggers" in your area, kind of how we started (dandoolittle, Jazz999amb and me) they made great videos and gain subscribers quickly and I got some from them, just by being in there videos :)

Most important make videos that you gone enjoy watching!

Thanks. All good advice.

I heard you can buy subs ;)

You can also do what a lot of people do, and spam every video and every message board with links to your videos. We know there are more than 100,000 viewers out there, so if you get 1% to watch you, thats 1000 subs instantly.

Of course you could just not care, and enjoy making videos with no pressure, no trolls and have nothing but fun with a great group of people. And put your link as your signature, make it easy for us to check you out.

Well the whole spam thing isn't me. I've noticed a few newer vloggers doin that and it's easy to see what they are in it for.
I like what you said at the end. That is more my style and what I am looking to gain out of motovlogging. I guess I should have made that clearer in my question.
Thanks for the reply. You all have been a big help.

I've just started out too with youtube uploads and making videos. I guess a good place to start is showing it to all of your friends and making a facebook account or page that has it's details in it. I have been making posts on facebook of my youtube videos and people may not subcribe straight away but after a while they will.

Buying views and subs can cause you huge issues in go future

Google won't show you videos on suggested or show you up for any keywords that you use

And it looks cheap

However, I don't think there is anything wrong with sharing videos on websites or social networks

Thanks guys. I use twitter and instagram to promote my videos and it seems to help. I created a Facebook page for my channel but don't really use it because I am totally anti-Facebook. Will probably delete the account. Thanks again. Good luck with your channels.

I got a couple subs now, its exciting. But in the spirit of not just putting up dumb reckless videos I deleted everything. I'm going to start over this year and work on putting up actual content. Maybe even think of topics prior to getting on the bike for a change!!!!! That should really help improve my vids. While its exciting to get a sub I really don't worry about the quantity.

I agree with Quality over Quantity but views, subs, comments and likes are the feedback I need to judge how my videos are perceived. If you're not getting views it's hard to judge what changes you need to make if any. Don't get me wrong. I'm not all about getting subs and having a big channel. I Motovlog for the fun and the interaction with this amazing community. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your channel.

Well he said to get subs we need to collaborate with other riders so lets go for a ride RIGHT NOW!!!! perfect riding weather, -7 feels like -26 and snowy ground=great video ;)
