Garmin Virb Xe Not Elite Review

So there has been a storm rolling through my state during the day and clearing up at night for a week now. So I haven't been able to get any good vlogs done. I was thinking of doing a review from a riders perspective on the Latest Garmin Virb XE.

I know a lot of people pick up the elites for a really good deal and this one is gopro 4 price. I decided to take the chance and get it. Would anyone be interested in that? I'll probably do it anyways, I just want to gauge any interest from you guys so I can tailor it correctly.

The Virb XE came out last year as a replacement for the elite. There is also a Virb X model for a lower price. The XE now has a smaller box shape similar to a go pro and has a lot more gps and ant+ functions to go along with the better sensor. There are some definite annoyances as a motovloggets setting it up. But once that's done I've loved it so far.

Be interesting to see, the form factor seems odd to me, as does the GoPro in general, would love to see how you mount it up.

Hey guys! So there was a patch of calmer weather so I got out and did the review. I'm not sure the best way to link it here, as I don't want to break the rules or promote myself. But the review is up on my channel No Adventure. Let me know if you want more info or pics! Thanks

Cool! I'm also interested in seeing what the differences are, considering the 600% increase in price...

Thanks for letting me know. Here's the link of anyone is interested. I tried to leave out the super techy stuff since there are a lot of those reviews already but none from an everyday users standpoint.

the gopro's colors really pop. I had the same experience with the first gen virb: the colors just didn't scream out "OMG" to me. The dynamic range? of the camera wasn't quite what I wanted. That said, it has lots of action cam features that are good.

Totally agree. I would say the Virb is maybe more true and waiting to be adjusted. You can even see with the session the colors have much more contrast but don't like my black jacket against the bright sky. If your going to load the video, trim it and upload the gopro probably does better. I think the info coming to the sensor seemed better with the Virb though.

Edit: I should've noted I did no correction to either for that video. Still learning to talk and ride haha.
