As many of you know, I crashed my bike a few weeks ag. My Furygan jacket really disappointed me, it's performance was well below what I expected. I contacted Furygan with the pictures and today I received this:
What do you think, would this make you buy something else off them? I guess I'm always going to be sceptical now..........

			Hello Blake,
Sorry for the long delay in answering.
Our lab had a look to your pictures and gave me some explanations coming from our latest researches due to CE approval processes (the Commando 3 en 1 is not CE approved). We are always moving forward and improving the products.
The main material of this jacket is a material that was, and is still, commonly used in the bike garment industry. But our abrasion tests shown that its abrasion performances were not meeting our expectations anymore. This is why we have chosen not to use it in areas where the abrasion and tearings are stronger in case of a crash (back, shoulders, arms). We also have developped the Skin Protect linings that are reinforcing the main material abrasion and tearing resistancy (abrasion above all for textile products that are not naturally abrasion resistant compare to leather).
Of course I'm really sorry to hear that our product did not perform as expected, though we are happy you had "only" this at your forearm.
We hope you'll continue to place your faith in Furygan products for the future, in case of any question please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
David Robert
