Here is my "Extended Cut of Unboxing the Forcite Founders Edition Helmet". The helmet has a built in camera and microphone. And is the best helmet I have tested so far (when looking at the vlog footage). Onboard Vlog footage hopefully coming out in the near future on the channel.

It certainly looks interesting. Just wish we could get it in the UK. Would be nice if it had slightly higher resolution (2.7k/60), but 1080/60 is still very workable.
I look forward to seeing how you get on with it and the audio/video quality.

I got questions - does it have stabilization? How about battery swap? Length of time recording?

3 hours on a battery is impressive time. Most riders would be happy with that. The long haul folks might need to rig up something though.

Some of my rides are 4 hours or longer.

The stabilization would be nice but good editing software can compensate although a pain in the butt.

And we know how to work 1080p60 into 4k for YouTube. (Wink)

Correct, you can't swap the battery. But unlike other smart helmets (Jarvish, Sena Momentum Pro) that don't allow you to charge while riding. I think this helmet might let you hook up a battery pack while it is running to keep recording the fun.

The compression seems pretty good too, I can get about 6, one hour rides in on a 64GB memory card.

I * think * you can plug in a external battery back to keep recording while riding. It's winter time here right now, so not planning any big rides, but if I ever get a chance to test it out. I'll let you guys know!

You are absolutely right. The camera view is weird, and if you are 6+ feet tall, standing and on an adventure bike, the view looks like you are driving a monster truck.

Plus you can not plug in a battery back to this helmet to keep recording. It has a safety feature that shuts off the helmet off when it detects something is charging it. And although this has Sena tech (communicator) in the helmet, it's not compatible with the Sena 50 series and its mesh+ network. This helmet concept started so early that all tech was 2-3 years old by the time it was in production. : / The video feed from the helmet is reasonable, but the colors seem washed out at times. The microphone clips out really badly too sometimes, so to get usable audio you need to speak quietly.

I see some folks mount like this with GoPros. I think it is a carry over from the early days of the camera??

There are different models of the Sena Momentum series. The regular Sena Momentum only has the Communicator and no Camera, so that probably is the one with the GoPro mounted to it. Unless people really want lots of different viewing angles I guess you could put a GoPro on a Momentum Pro but that would make the helmet pretty heavy.
