The SW-Motech sump guard is a part I have been eagerly waiting on being launched as the stock guard is not fit for purpose if planning on trail riding the Aprilia Tuareg 660.
Although it is quite simple to fit once all the mounting locations have been located, you might find a second pair of hands helpful to mount the guard to the brackets on the bike for the first time.
Also, if you have the official Aprilia crash guard fitted, you will have to modify that slightly for this to fit. In the video I show how to do this.
Overall, I am really pleased with how the SW-Motech sump guard looks, and it's build quality, it also looks incredibly tough and durable, but I have not had to load test it yet on any trails.
My only real criticism of the product as a whole, is that the instructions do not include the torque settings for the bolts you re-use on the bike (it does have torque settings for the new bolts included in the kit), and that a couple of the pictures on the instructions were a little small to see and were taken after a part was fitted rather than before which would have been clearer. The on line instructions allowed me to zoom in for clarification which helped though.
