Had an ol' friend come down to visit yesterday... the cool thing is that she's into motorcycles (unlike my wife ~_~ ) - the first time I've ever had a girl on my bike !~

the first few times it's fun t have a passenger. especially if they're a good passenger. but i get tired of it quickly, what with the extra weight, and added responsibilities. it's much more fun to just hop on and be gone for a day (for me). although it is nice if she has some extra money for gas.

Yeah my wife would not think that was funny at all haha. My wife actually loves to ride on the bike but I am more into solo riding as it is more comfortable not having the extra balancing responsibilities and what not.

Riding 2-up was no issue when I was riding my naked bikes, did it frequently for short or long rides. On a sports bike though, I'm not liking it at all. Oh well.

Sports bikes seem a little more dangerous for a rider than a regular bike... one of the reasons I'd be nervous taking someone on the back of mine, if it ever happens ~..... >_>

the riding position is a good point, I don't think I would like it on the VFR but on my old XS1100 it was great, would probably be good on the KLR too Might have to get a good spring back there (I'm a fat ass) so I can set it up for the 2 of us.

I rode two up for the first time with my girlfriend the other day. We went out and practiced during the day and then rode to bike night at Cycle Gear. It was a blast. I guess it just depends on your passenger.
