Hey everyone,

Im 26 from the UK (West Mids)

Iv been sorta wanting to vlog for ages now - iv only got a 1st gen GoPro which isnt even HD so at the minute im just brushing up on my editing skills.
(ordered a hero 3 + silver edition yesterday so will be up and running properly soon.)

Anyway - for now, id appreciate if people could take a look at my latest video...
(its less than 3 minutes long)


comments and criticisms welcome.
(so are likes and subs on my youtube channel :))

EDIT: Vegas Pro seems to have rendered it a lot darker than it originally was, hopefully will be better with the new camera

I only have 16 subs...but I figure so what!......Most of my friends and family watch my videos and they are not subscribed. And that is why I make these things in the first place.
The big timers all say "it takes time be patient".

Hey, dont knock the Low Quality+Crap Audio of the older Goprs, still got mine. (but they make great 2nd/3rd/etc cameras) lol

The darkness?? idk? Im wondering if the Cam has an issue with White balance or Dark-Light sensors?? is it newish? under warranty?
I didnt do anything about mine when i noticed a little change in quality, but that was 6yrs or so ago..so no warranty.

What a Dirty Day that looked like, personnally if i saw a mate at a Bog (01:01), wearing WHITE! I woulda made such a HUGE Splash...Troll-alert lol
If he did complain...your just gettin some better footage? And wearing white at an MX park...well ya just asking for it? lol

Big things allways have small beginnings...cant wait to see your editing style grow, with time and Vids to come. (and the Upgrades along the way)

Thanks very much - yes i will continue to try and improve my editing style.

The main thing i think is not to keep on the same thing for too long, that 3 minute video above was made out of the best parts of about 2 hours of footage lol.

Im thinking the original GoPro will come in handy for filming multiple angles at once, if you have the picture small and the light is ok then the original isnt bad at all.

Heres a photo of a mod i did to my road bike today....
(Had mixed opinions about the LEDs, but i like it)

I took it out for a spin and took the GoPro with me to test how good (or not so good) the photos turn out, heres what i got....

Every photo is blurry - does anyone know how to increase the shutter speed - or if its even possible?

This is the only pic that came out ok and i took it by accident lol...

You might get pulled for that...Red lights mean REAR END!!

But, its your bike and your money.
I do dig it tho, but other colour maybe, white perhaps?

Yeah, just found this lol...

Other lights - It is an offence to show a red light to the front of a vehicle (including a reflector) and a white light to the rear unless reversing. Once again these offences are dealt with by means of a £30 Fixed Penalty Notice. It does not matter if the lights are mounted inside or outside the vehicle, just that the light can be seen from the outside. This would also include neon lights fitted under or on the side of a vehicle and red LED windscreen washer jets. Green lights can only be fitted on Medical Practitioners vehicles.
