Never was a Bush/Cheney fan and am a little disappointed with Obama lately :/ ... politics has always been a dirty game which has become totally worse over the last 15 to 20 years
. In all honesty, I think if the Fairness Doctrine was not abolished in the late 80's, things would be better... but then again, now, there's social media which is fairly new
. Also, if the Supreme Court wouldn't have made corporations people about a year or so ago, we'd be much better off on the airwaves...
Ahh well, what are 'ya going to do
??? Just watch disfunction only get worse over the upcoming years
. So much for everyone going down to the bar in the evening and hammering out compromise ^_~ .....
Yep, Well, I think we, as the american voter need to really examine the jokers that are running for office, and before you go out to vote, examine their voting record if they were running for congress, and if they are running for president, examine their voting records if they were a congressperson before, and see if you agree or disagree with it, but then again, does the american voter really have a say when they go to vote anymore?
Politics, I agree have always been a dirty game, but it seems it has been more than the past 15 to 20 years since it has been going on. I think it all started right around after WW1 and keeps rearing it's ugly head year after year now.I agree, the Supreme Court should have never made corporations "people", and that is partly due, I think to the peer pressure, (aka money buyout), and "political influence". For me, I do not really support some of Obama's issues, but I did like how he is getting the USA out of a 2 front war that both Bush/Cheney started in the first place, as well as approving of the mission to finally kill Bin Laden, that Bush/Cheney could never find or even Daddy Bush, or how Clinton had the capability to get him, but prevented the military from finally taking care of business with him, since Bin Laden was on the CIA payroll at one time.
Yep, we can either watch the dysfunction in DC continue over the years, or really affect change, by not allowing it to continue. One way to do that, is to be educated about the candidates, maybe stop supporting the evil corporations who allow this to continue, and really vote for change in DC. This is one of the reasons that I will never vote for a "Democrip" (Democrat),
or a "Rebloodlican" (Republican)
candidate ever again, and vote for the Independent candidates like Jesse Ventura.
Can you imagine his running mate Howard Stern as V.P. ??? LOL
Maybe even vote for Daffy Duck for President, and Mickey Mouse for Vice President.
Oh wait, we have those people in office already. LOL
