First Motorcycle Crash?

How it happened was, it was pretty much the worst possible scenario and when i look back at it i dont know why did i even do it lol... it was raining, mudy downhill and dark.. and i had a set of road tires on instead of knobbies:) + i've never ridden that trail before
(i happen to be extremly dumb and make poor decisions at times xD)

as mentioned above i didnt just crash once but it happened twice in few minutes, i touched exhaust with my leg both times, fml rite..anyway, bike is fine and the rest of me is aswell

I won't be able to ride for a bit now, but luckily I managed to get some other footage that day so, i have stuff to make videos for a while.

what are your crash stories, was it your fault or someone else's? did you wear all the gear? were you or your bike hurt/damaged?

The only run I have had with the ground was my first day riding.. I was out on a random road with little/no traffic, when out of nowhere I had a big Ford F350 riding my ass... As a new rider, this made me extremely uncomfortable! I attempted to pull over off the side of the road. Just as I was about to go into the gravel/dirt (off to my right) the F350 clipped me, and from there all I remember is gravel filling my helmet, my bike hitting the ground, and waking up ALONE on the side of the road haha. The F350 didn't even stop to see if I was alright or not.. At least now you've had your first/second incident(s) so now there isn't any need for more, right?!

Damn thats crazy! Its takes a dirty son of a bitch to do something like that to someone for no reason.

I agree, but I'm just thankful that I didn't give up riding, and to be alright haha. :D
The only thing that was an issue afterwards was a pretty gnarly crack in the right fairing.. and some tweaked handlebars.. :confused:

Thats one hell of a first day riding...have to say most folks would have given it up right there! Glad ya came out of it aight :)

wow that sucks, did you see his license plate, and did you call the police?

and yeah lol i sure hope that was enough :p ..probably not tho, i was just about to get more serious about learning wheelies and stuff lol, i'm sure i'll crash a couple of times more, but i'll definatly have all the gear on next time i do something stupid lol (and ofcourse camera rolling:P )

No, I didn't see anything I was WAY focused on trying to live.. I was a new rider so I was really scared in that moment. Link me to those videos if you end up making them! I'm comfortable in my abilities now haha, so I was interesting in learning how to do some clutch ups (because why not:D) .

hehe sure will, i'm just waiting for my leg to get better, also i need to find a decent wheelie spot, i thought i had one and i was just there the other day, did a couple of wheelies then took a break and in came the police car (I later found out that they come there pretty often lol). luckily they didnt see me wheelie so there was nothing they could do really lol
 
Same thing happened to me. I'm not going to attempt it until I have a very clear, open, CLEAN, secluded road.
 
I kinda had a crash, when I first got my bike after riding about a month the clutch cable broke on me. I was coming up to a stop sign over a hill there was a side ride just at the start of the hill and a car behind me so I decide the safest option was the side rode I was going a little fast for my skill then into the sharp turn onto the side rode,so I hit the brake till the bike stalled in about the apex of the turn. I went to put my right foot down and the road was at an angle and I dropped the bike and rolled down about 15yards into the person's yard. I was so embarrassing cause the people were on their front porch and here I come rolling into their yard. luckily the bike wasn't hurt from the drop and I was either

yeah you gotta watch out for those clutch cables lol, I almost had the same thing happen to me back when i had my SV650 lol, but luckily i randomly went and checked my clucth cable one day and it was pretty much almost torn already lol
