haha rushed post mate ;) lol still processing

and what editing software are you using?

the clicking sounds like the audio bouncing around from static in the mic. when you introduce a new clip or add another clip do you fade in the audio or not. if not give that a try and see if it helps

Oh, bad timing? The story of my life, lol!

I'm using PowerDirector 11. There isn't any clicking in the raw footage. It's when I do a frame split, it adds that click. Sometimes I'll split a frame thinking I'm going to pull out a section, then decide to keep it. Even though I don't do any other editing besides splitting it, it'll get that click.
I can fade in the audio to get rid of it, but then I'd have audio levels bouncing around all over the place.

if you do a quicker fade so that you only lose about 3 or 4 miliseconds noone will notice. it may take you another 5 mins or so but its better then people hearing a random clicking noise. but once again clicking noises arent even that noticeable. i actually had to listen to it because im used to things clicking (camera stopping and starting new records, belt taping on tank, backpack straps flapping around and so on)
