Got my external sound recorder today - a Zoom H2n. Unfortunately, after ordering it on Amazon with a windjammer from a different supplier I received an email to notify me that they were out of stock and it's going to be a couple of weeks which is annoying...
I'm pretty uneducated when it comes to audio / video recording, but working it out as I go!
I don't do talking videos (I am conscious of the name of this forum...), and since getting an Akrapovic slip on for my GS, I've felt really let down by the audio via a lapel microphone from my GoPro H2 into my helmet. Although I have to say it was a vast improvement over the internal GoPro microphone!
I have spoken to RoyalJordanian about his set up via YouTube and understand he currently uses an external recorder which prompted me to get a Zoom.
This may be a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone has used sound recording devices for the exhaust / motorcycle sounds (specifically not vlogging) - and if so, if any one has any suggestions on locations / recording settings?
