External Mic Box

First-time poster here! So, I've been looking to get into motovlogging for a while now; Offroad, at least for the time being, until I can get my license. I don't have a lot of money, so I've been considering purchasing a geekpro eov1 camera and a Sony ECM-ES3 mic. The only problem with this setup is that the geekpro has no external mic port. Uh-Oh! So I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a small "box" that I could plug a non-powered external mic into and record. The "box" would have to be able to fit into my helmet, under a cheek pad or something, and preferably have an adjustable gain setting. Thank you to everyone who responds!

Why don't you try connecting the mic to your mobile phone and use the phone as the recording unit. Make sure the mic is compatible with your phone. You probably have to keep the phone in your pocket or strap it to your arm like cyclist or runners do. Timmmmmeeehhhhh! (South Park)

You could also grab a cheap voice recorder off Ebay for a few dollars as well.

I'm looking at getting a Tsscam DR-05 I think they are about $160 in Aus which is not too bad just need to wait for that sweet Tax money to come in lol
