Entire Day - Blown

Well, this sucks. I've been using my Sena Prism Tube for about 1 week. yesterday in the middle of recording it tells me the battery is low so it's going to shut off. When I got to work, I charged it up, then used it as normal on my ride home. When I plugged it in to my computer this morning, it tells me the SD card isn't formatted. so I lost all the video I recorded yesteday. After formatting (seems I had no choice), I put the card back into the sena, tried a short recording, plugged it into my computer, same problem.

after formatting again, I plugged the card into my old camera, and it worked fine.

So i plugged it back into the sena and now it's ok. I still lost all my video for an entire day. I'm more than a little cheesed off right now.

bah, after testing the card in my computer, the sena still won't recognize it, but the card still works fine in my other cam, but that does me no good...AAAARGH...so much for my recording plans today

I had a similar problem with a cheap SD card I bought which worked fine in my mobile phone and tablet but using it in the Drift camera and it bombed out after 20 seconds. Tried reformatting but in the end I bought a Samsung card for a bit more money and its worked fine every since.

I went with your suggestion and tried another card, still no dice.

TBH, I think there is a problem with the camera. Neither of my computers recognize it when I try to install the desktop software.

I have a transcend Micro class 10 card (which worked fine for a week), and a Sandisk Class 10 card...both are 32 gig cards.

I called Sena this morning, they are going to RMA it.

I agree, both class 10 cards should've worked. That was my first thought when you described your problem. Glad Sena's taking care of it!
