Hi guys,

I hope you are doing well.

I'm thinking about a new bike and i like so much the ducati 796. In france that bike is not famous. Not many Ducati are whelling around paris.

I would like to have your feeling about this bike :
- Good for city ?
- How many kilometers with a full gas ?
- How much for each maintenance ?
- good for passager ?
- Expensive to repair ?

if you have any other coment please share them.

Many thanks,
Mohamed

Depends on how you ride it. I use more fuel than a mate who has the same bike as me, go figure ;)
Depends on what you break and loads normally for ducatis
Depends on your pillion, are they slim, ridden before?
It's a ducati, its always expensive to fix

Thank you Dan!

I'm a cool driver, I enjoy acceleration more than speed. I drive 90% in the city + 10 % for rides i nthe country side. I'm a cool driver. I take my time. No extra speed.
I'm looking for a new bike easy to use, safe with a nice sound.

Does the Ducati 796 is the right choice ?

if you like it, buy it ;)

I love my Fireblade but I totally get that others dont like it. I also ride a ratty ZZR and a little 125!

It's what YOU like

It's so important to choose a bike you're passionate about.

I fell in love with the street triple, and nothing would have been an acceptable alternative once that happened. I would have regretted getting anything else.

To be honest I was thinking about the street triple. According to tests it is the best roadster mid-size. An users confirm it as well.
The problem is that I think the street triple is too powerful 106ch for the usual speed limit. I prefere try to ride safe without too much power I can not manage or use.

What do you think about it?

I love it!

Every throttle has a brain controlling it. The bike won't accidentally go 200kmh and the power is smoothly delivered.
