Hi all,

Don't know if you've cought 'Darkflights' Latest vlog about the Drift. But Before we all meet it would be nice for Drift users to make sure their 'Drift Remote' is paired to their Drift.

I know I would hate it if you where to turn my cam off because you've finished talking. (Visa Versa)

Check it out and make sure its pair up otherwise your video and people around you videos may end up hitting the recycle bin.

:)

I was under the impression it paired automatically to the nearest device when you pair it, and seeing as i'm sure mines the only one in the town we should be fine? :P

No some can come up paird, mine was but it worked as it was in the radius of the cam.

Once paired it will only turn on/off your camera & no one elses.

& While Vlogging around it's fine, it's when were all close up in a bunch, or someones talking while at traffic lights. As soon as someone turns it off, other drift cams near will turn off.

Just a heads up if your cam is paired. But (expect to be deleting footage or trying to scramble some together).

I was under the impression that the remotes worked on about 8 frequencies, so when you pair up it'll pic one automatically, the issue is someone in the group being on the same freq that buggers up other peoples video by recording/stopping recording all the time

might be worth having a read up on it and maybe pairing them fresh when y'all meet up then there shouldn't be crossed freqs

Pairing your remote does nothing to stop your remote from messing up someone else's camera. Pairing happens in the camera not the remote. Your camera recognizes the remote and only responds to that remote. If your camera doesn't work its your camera that's the problem and not someone else's remote.

Thats what I want.

I don't want someone turning off my cam while I'm recording while there not.

I only want my camera to respond to my remote. So it's fine it will work, once paired with my/ your own camera.
