I don't get it, I have the mic in the same place and on the same sensitivity on the Drift HD as I did on my stealth but I just can't get good audio, even with the fuzzy bit from a scala rider over the mic! This isn't normal is it? I know some people have their mic right next to the nose guard and it's fine so why is mine bad when it's as far away from my mouth as possible?

Gah. Help.

AAAAHHHHH MUST RESIST DRIFT INSULTS........ AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

Trolololol

Lower the sensitivity? Talk quieter? Give up and buy a GoPro?

(I'm only joking. Or am I?)

same here, mines generaly pretty good but if i shout it can get a bit distorted, best sugestion would be try a few different mic positions

Got my mic sticking out from a cheek pad but crucially behind the chin bar, not above it. Mean it's not directly in front of your mouth (so not breathed on) and it's hidden from windblast which is especially useful when the visor's open.

Blake, I noticed your audio fades massively when you open your visor so I can only assume your mic's above the chin bar? Get the chin bar to capture the sound, not the visor.

It is yes, has been since I got my stealth, I think i'd get too much distortion in that position? I'll give it a try though!
