DRIFT HD170 stealth does not power on?

I stored this cam away for winter and now it does not power on? Just wondering if anyone might have encountered this, and no it is out of warranty. I may try a new battery, but shouldn't it at least power on when on charger? I contacted drift to see if i could send it in an pay out of pocket to have it looked at, but if the cost is crazy to do so then I'll start saving for a new one.

I ordered a cheap none HD cam to use tempary until i solve the problem or determine its trash (even though it worked great be for stored away).

Welcome to the forum.

Leave it on the charger overnight and see if it powers on in the morning, unplugged.

was a no go, could possibly be a bad battery not sure. Might order new one off ebay since i have not heard back from drift.

Drift wants me to try the master reset, but think I'll still wait on new battery be for that.

My ghost powers on without the battery, would have yours would on a USB?

Going to dig out some of my older USB cables and try them. Probably be this weekend be for i get around to it.

Guess its done for. When i hooked it to computer is a messaged popped up of malfunction. The power light does not come on, and the master reset did nothing at all. As to be something on the power side of things maybe.. not sure.

Wonder if it's still under warranty? Did you buy it within the warranty period? See if the company can do anything...that is a real bummer.

Seem to be a hardware problem with drift.
