Do You Record All The Time Or Just When You Have A Vlog Topic?

So after being out of the motovlogging game for quite a while now I'm planning to get back into it. Of course I fell into one of my old habits and that's only recording when I have a topic. So I've missed out on some interesting things. On my last ride I almost hit a deer, I saved a turtle that was catching some sun in the middle of the road, and I witnessed a car crash. Of course all of those things would have made it into a video if I had been recording.

Then again is seems like when I record all of the time nothing ever happens. I guess that's just the life of a motovlogger! Do you guys record all of the time when you're riding or just when you have a topic?

If I'm out I have a camera rolling. And your rides are much more eventful than mine. Lol

I record all the time when I'm out, I'm looking at upgrading from a 64GB card to a 128GB SD card so I can not worry as much about recording 5+ hours at a time.

All the time bar local errands, although if the camera is still attached, I'll turn it on.

If I'm out riding for a few hours I'll record the whole time. If I'm out all day, or on a multi-day trip, I'll set my Drift to Tag mode, so it's recording but not filling up my SD cards.

I use to just record if I have something to touch on or group riding, but now I tend to record during commutes to and back from work. Mostly nothing much.

I honestly record every time I'm on the bike, I feel as if people notice me more with the camera on my helmet, and I never want to miss a moment. I ride with two cameras one facing forward and the other facing the rear.

I used to only record leisure rides and vlogs, but after almost getting taken out without having the camera rolling, I now record all the time (and I've recorded another 2-3 near misses)

I have 2 batteries for my Prism, and they only last about an hour each. You can record while charging, but the charging cord doesn't fit very securely into the port of the Prism in my experience. So, I don't record all the time. I would definitely like to, mostly for safety/insurance purposes.

I do find, of course, that when I run out for a "quick ride" with out my camera mount that that's when the most interesting things happen. Le sigh... lol

i record all the time cauze you never know what u will see + if something happens and im dead they still know how i came :)

I video all the time just in case?
Yea, like why wouldn't anyone just turn the camera on all the time. Otherwise the camera just sits there not being used.

Anyway, I bought my camera as a knee jerk reaction after getting knocked down by a car and I wanted to make sure I had evidence for the courts next time, and started vlogging after that. I wouldn't be caught riding without it rolling.

Try and take it out as often as possible, Ill just ride around and if I feel the need to vlog Ill go for it.

All the time for protection. Because you never know. Plus you never know when you will get something good on camera. I even use my gopro in my truck whenever I drive it.

On the street, always. Sometimes I don't bother on the dirt, as I've got enough footage of me bouncing off trees. :p
