Do You Post On Your Personal Social Media?

GHOSTNINJA

Lets do this!
I am some what conflicted on this. While I love sharing my videos with friends and family, sort of like "Hey, look what I made!" I also hate being spammed by things. While I know its not spam, I just feel awkward about it. I do it from time to time if I really proud of what I made.

Do you guys do it?

Not really. Ive got a twitter for my vlogging but I don't post to my personal fb page as few of my friends are bikers let alone vloggers

Same here. Don't know why I don't. Heck I've thought of moving my Twitter and starting and Instagram that is a mixed of both. As for Facebook I'm leaving that separate for sure.

I definitely will not, the more anonymous i am the better as i'm sick and tired of being sent the same email with the pic of the Honda t-boned inside the little red car 12 x a year by people telling me how dangerous bikes are. Also, majority of my personal facebook friend list don't ride and would not understand.

Make a Facebook page and keep it separate to your personal FB page. That's what I've done (work in progress, link below) and that is what I post to & link youtube videos to. You can also post on FB as your FB page name and keep your name & personal page private. I post on bike pages etc as my FB page name. It maintains a good level of privacy.

I used to post to my personal FB page as a few friends gave me some nice feedback. Turns out they were just being polite and none of my friends give a crap.

Not even the ones who ride bikes! Which is quite hilarious because they spam the sh!t out of me with really bad quality motorbike videos that I have no interest in seeing! Crash compilations and the like.

If you monetise your videos with AdSense and you have a small channel be very careful how you generate traffic to your videos, especially through the forums or social media.

I learnt this the hard way!

As Lurch asked, what happened. learns us a lesson please! I was monetizing my videos but since I have such a small subscriber base I felt it was hurting me more than anything, plus I am pretty sure at this point it was pointless so I removed it from all my videos.

I tried this but it would not take the name ghost ninja so I created another account for my self and tied a page to it. However I don't use it because I don't like having my name attached to it. Is there a certain way I should be creating the page?

I thought if you created the page thr page owner could stay anonymous from it and post as the page name?

I made a seperate facebook page, so that way only people who wana see your videos will like the page that way your not spamming them.

I have my Marbro_za fan page, And a Marbro ZAR profile (facebook made me change my name).. Thats for youtube stuff

Then i have my martin fydolla ho brown page, which is my personal one where i post racist things and hit on 14 year old boys..

The two only meet because Personal page is an admin for my fan page. I got tired of logging in and out etc.

The main reason they are seperate, I have dickhead friends who would laugh at me and shit, So i dont show them
