Did I deserve this reaction?

Just cos we got cameras, doesn't mean we are policemen. Doesn't mean we have to be nice to people who are doing something wrong either, lol.

What I like is that you really pissed him off. Ruined his day. He might be a really nice guy in general, but he would have been on edge all day. Not only that, he knows he is being watched and can be seen from any angle when he is unaware, so he will think twice about it again. Might not stop the same reaction, but that's only a defensive tantrum having been caught.

Surprised you didn't stop just in front of him the second time round - you know, aloingside the next car so he couldn't ram you - and wave. Nice and condescending like. Hee hee.

It's quite shocking that people actually act like that, especially when in control of a potential weapon!

Well done for keeping your cool though, probably annoyed him even more haha!

Deserve? ... Meh I dunno .... You were polite ... But from his perspective you also did the wrong thing and 'harassed him/cut him off in traffic/caught him out' ... None of which can be counted on to improve his mood!

I think you were correct enough in your actions to point it out .... You would have to have expected that kind of reaction though ... NO ONE usually just meekly smiles and waves or nods ... Mouths 'sorry' ... They will slyly try to hide the phone then deny deny deny!!, give people the chin jerk and 'what!?' ...

I mean this in the nicest possible way ... But ... Catching someone on video and then expecting them to thank you? Lol.. Not gonna happen compadre!! ... Or extremely rarely!

Well done on not letting it escalate further into physical confrontation though ... That woulda been a 'Yankee' way to do it! ;) ;)

Maybe if he where a little more calm about it... that guy clearly has anger issues or was just having a really bad day though. I dont think you deserved that kind of intensity but maybe just a quick fuck off. However good for you for pointing it out, he wasnt supposed to be driving on his phone.

I do similar things when I see people not holding their lane, swerving, no turn signals, phones, running red lights, etc.
People are assholes and I don't suffer idiots.
If they are being dangerous asses, I don't mind pointing it out.

I need to get my Drift fixed 8(

This is the kind of response I was expecting, and got, until all the non-vloggers found it. Getting some abuse now!!

I do not understand any of this! ahah

got your 'back' bro!! .. subbed .. and spent 3 pages of voting down the haters!!

Thanks man! Although you're fighting a losing battle!

I guess this is the consequence of non-riders not understanding the risks mobile phone users create. Again, I am aware that there are plenty of people on here who wouldn't confront drivers for it, but I don't think I 'don't have the right' to say something...

I've had similar... One guy followed me very aggressively for around 3 miles across town, gesturing and sounding his horn.... when I pulled in to a petrol station and got off he drove away very quickly indeed

Maybe he had seen the error of his ways, or maybe he noticed that I am 6' 5", 17 stone, wearing a helmet and body armour and I was a little bit pissed off

Either way, take them out of the car, and they aren't quite so brave

Heheheh Kimi .... Driver be like 'I'm gonna sort that biker out... I'm gonna teach him to......... Friggin hell he's HUGE!! ... Got an appointment ... Yes I'm definitely late for an appointment !! Off we go!'

I'm 5'11" and 20 stone .. More gut than muscle .. But big across shoulders ... Hair usually cut to #1 ... My usual 'grumpy' face .... For some strange reason people move out of my way too .... It's weird! ;) :D

6foot4Honda has a much better way of dealing with mobile phone users at the beginning of this video. It's brill.
