Deleted My Footage :-(

Oh dear! Not sure which worse, deleting it or recording blank files...

Get into a habit of copying your files to your PC and keeping them on your SD card too. Edit the video files from your PC while keeping the SD card full as a temporary backup. Until you're absolutely 100% sure you're finished editing the video and are ready to upload, then you can delete the spare footage (or all of it, like I do because it takes up way too much space).

Oh man, how devastating. I did also accidentally deleted a video of me almost getting struck by lightning, I spent the next couple of good hours to retrieve it through using some software. GOT IT BACK THOUGH!,
