Thank you, shooting night shots is hard.
I do change the settings on the camera and in the editing software.
On the GoPro Hero4 Silver, I drop it to just 1080 with the frame rate dropped to about 24. Protune and set the ISO to just where the noise in the picture is not showing.
In the editing software, I let it do an auto adjust to the light level. I might have to tweak slightly from there.
Then I render it all at 4k so YouTube allows it to have a higher bitrate.
As you can see, the camera loves the twilight. Even Venus popped in the sky.

It looks amazing. I wonder if I upscale my 2.7k vids to 4k when rendering if it will give me a boost too?

It may. You should try it and crank the bitrate on the upload just shy of the 4k to avoid it getting nerfed.
