Damn it, wish I'd posted this on YouTube!

As I understood it Facebook would like to make an extra buck if you’ll be posting YouTube-links, thus not exposing your post to as many as if it were a Facebook post, wanting you to pay for an ad to extend the exposures.

One “fix” to this should be to just put the thumbnail and the description/caption in you post and then put the actual YouTube link in the first comment to that post.

Well more evidence that it is easier to reach an audience on Facebook than it is on YouTube:

Facebook is way better for organic reach but you’ll never be able to get cash for clicks, you’ll get less reach for YouTube links than uploading to Facebook but nothing to stop having clips that blip to your channel!

I do think YouTube will start to go backwards on recommending videos soon, more showing related content like it used to but still aggy with swearing etc.

Aye, it looks like it will only promote channels that gets a positive response from ALL their content... which means my channel will possibly slow down on growth as my castle vids are less popular but are what I enjoy vlogging about the most!

Nothing wrong with reposting a share to your older content ;)

I doubt FB will be going anywhere fast but I wouldn’t put all the eggs in one basic, it is dying a slow and painful death.... people forget MySpace etc but I don’t think it will be going, just slowing....
