I personally think they guy with the camera is a jackass. So the cop claims he is issuing a ticket for running a red light. Then the guy is argumentative right from the get go. Name me any cop that can quote the law books word for word.

If you ask me the man with the camera is a dangerous person with his smooth tongue what little knowledge he possesses.

Hm, if the asshat behind the camera was actually correct then there'd be an ending to the video. Yet for some strange reason he stopped it while the camera is still working fine? Sounds to me like he lost that fight. No, cops generally can't recite the exact wording of a law and frankly they don't need to be able to. Where I live the guy would be arrested for failure to obey a peace officer, failure to provide proper ID when 'requested' (because here it actually IS legally mandated that you be able to identify yourself,) and most importantly resisting arrest. That douchebag deserves to spend a few weeks in prison imo.

He was a dick, but at the same time cyclist always go through on red and the cop was simply putting a ticket through to get one step closer to his target that month. People who know a little bit about the law will always find something to make an officers time hard, they get off on it and like to feel superior to the law. If I were the cop, I would have detained him there and then and called for another officer in a panda to come and deal with him so if it did lead to an arrest he could have been carted away sharpish.

I agree with this, imo the police officer should have dealt with it slightly differently and kept authority, but there is no way anyone can remember every word of every law to repeat it when asked!

Hehe, nothing wrong with a Fiat, a Panda is said to be able to break the sound barrier. :roll: Haha, The cyclist was a bit of a Jerk & the officer should know the law. Or he should know that whatever he says he knows the answer to. Or is good enough to flip it to a rhetorical question. Personally I'd like to have seen the cyclist be given a fine to shut him up. While the officer would have been sacked or fined heavily as he attacked unprovoked.
