Well sport bikes were designed for optimal cornering ability. So one would assume that if you want/need a sportbike, you need it because you want it for the corners such as the twisties or track days.

The tight twisties are fun when I'm in the mood for it but if I just want to get out in the wind the sweepers are much better. No matter what bike I'm riding I prefer a road with some curves. Riding straight slab for hours on end is not much fun on a bike to me.Caesar342 said:this may just be an assumption but dont most sportsbike riders prefer twisties and cruisers prefer straight aways?

Straights can be fun opening up the ZX9R and/or overtaking stupidly huge lines of cars... on the GPZ500... not so much!

Definitely. It's the 1999 model, and looks absolutely huge compared to any 1000cc bike made after 2000! I'm about 5'11", BTW.
