For 3 days, right after being forced to integrate my youtube channel with a G+ account, I wasn't able to upload anything to my motovlogging channel. I used three different computers and even tried from work so it wasn't my computer or my ISP. I also used the same filetype I've always used. I would upload at night and the next morning it would still be processing. I would try again before work and get back home to the same thing. The whole time I was able to upload the same exact video to another newer channel just fine.

Don't get me wrong I think eventually it will all work out. I think the way comments are going to be handled will be better but just like every other Youtube change they're just being really clumsy about it. I'm fine with them making changes and I'm fine with using G+. I actually prefer G+ to Facebook. The only reason I don't use it is because no one else does. The thing that pisses me off is the glitches that have gone along with the transition. I've had problems uploading. I've had problems commenting. They aren't making it easy. It might be ok if they had some way of helping people that have problems but they're one of the hardest companies to get any support from.

I don't like youtube at all, it's a POS service. It keeps hanging my computer, it forces users to install third party crapware (adobe flash) to enjoy most content and it has adverts up the wazoo!, now they're forcing the use of another google product. Youtube really sucks.

Vimeo always existed and they always had another level of quality. When youtube was struggling to get all web 2.0 and allowed the first HD uploads, when they were 1280x720 and highly compressed, vimeo was already providing 1920x1080 HD uploads at a better bitrate and best quality.

The only reason to keep using it is because it has the biggest user base and there's more chance of somebody finding your videos.

My problem is I just don't understand Google+. I don;t know what I am meant to do to set it up, I don;t know how to set up comment notifications, It's just not as simple as Youtube. But I agree the Youtube commenting system is a bit screwed up, but at least it was simple.

Haven't been here in a couple months, but came back out of frustration over this whole fucked up google+ bullshit. I have just under 10k subs and make about $500 per month on youtube and I'm so pissed right now I'm seriously thinking about deleting everything in my life that has to do with google...Did I mention that I'm pissed right now? I can't even reply to comments on my own fucking videos..? WTF!!! I feel like sending them a long email, but won't because I'm about 99.999999999% sure if it even got read by a human not one single fuck would be given.

I actually spent some time earlier today trying to make sense of wtf is happening..only to find zero answers and I've come to the conclusion that I will NEVER use google+ for anything that is not mandatory. Fuck google for trying to force feed me their wannabe facebook bullshit social media circle jerk garbage. I used to actually like google and pretty much everything they were involved in, this move will most likely be reversed after they experience a huge backlash from the people who actually use their services.

I've just had a comment of "I agree", and I have NO ideia what the guy is agreeing TO, since there is no threaded view on the comments.

G+ fan page looks nice-ish, but I JUST wanted youtube. Youtube feels like adobe now.... "oh you want to read a pdf? Here is reader, air, adobe auto update, quick launch, flash, kitchen sink, toilet,..."

On the other hand, I am now pasting the WHOLE Game of Thrones Book 1 into my channel's "Discussion" comment section. Fun.

My computer:
AMD Phenom x4 945 3.0GHz, AMD 780 chipset, 8GB RAM dual channel, 128GB Samsung 830 SSD, 1TB RAID 0, Radeon 6770.
That's an above average computer, it's not THAT new but it's pretty fast and should be good enough for friggin youtube.
