Coming Up With Topics!

Alright, so I'm still new at this stuff (the motovlog stuff). Also, i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this topic as well. But here goes.

I was wondering how does everyone come up with stuff to talk about. I usually just ride with friends and record stupid stuff we do or see, but I feel like it would be more entertaining for people to listen to vlogs as well?

Am I wrong or right? Anyways, just curious to know what you guys do to prepare yourself for doing a topic filled vlog.

You could start off narrating the stupid stuff you guys do or see, once you're comfortable you can get onto picking something that you are interested to talk about.

I don't enjoy watching "topic" vloggers where what they talk about has nothing to do with what I'm seeing in their video.

Its kind of a turn off when I start watching a video and the guy starts with "Today's topic is ... blablabla" ... unless I want to hear specifically about this subject. When I started few months ago, that's what I was doing and I hated my own videos. Now i'm trying to go with the flow and just talk about stuff that really happened in my life recently. Like telling people about the mouse that died in my wall and i had a blow fly invasion, or when my bike died on me on my way back from Montréal... If I can catch those moments on camera, it's even better. Not sure if people enjoy it or not, but that is what I like to do now.

I participate in the mototalks stuff when I need a topic. Other than that, I just talk about the dumb stuff that goes on in my life on a day to day basis. Just be yourself and do some talking.

I usually just have the camera rolling when riding. Occasionally, a topic will pop into my head and I'll talk about it. Half of those get thrown out due to being boring when I play them back and listen. The best stuff in my vids is usually something that occurs happenstance, like me seeing a dog and rev bombing it or seeing a drunk and following him.

I've mainly just been putting random footage together that I laughed pretty hard at looking over in hopes people would enjoy them. I guess i'll stick to that, and try what you guys had mentioned talk about random stupid shit I see.
