Hey all, I'm planning on a couple of rides early May as I have a week off (and am planning to go see family). Nothing is set in stone as of yet as I'm still figuring out all the plans, but it'd be cool to see if anyone wants to join me on my way.

I won't be taking any motorways (as I've not done my Mod 1), so they'll be slower/longer trips, but if that doesn't bother you, my rough plans are;

Tues 3rd May; Cleethorpes to Lostock Gralam (Just south of Manchester)
Thurs 5th May; Lostock Gralam to London
Sat 7th May; London to Cleethorpes

Routes aren't fully planned as of yet, but I'll update this as and when I know any more details.

I might be about on the 3rd, can meet you near Fridaythorpe or Market Weighton and get you across to Leeds where you can take the A62 to Huddersfield and then the A640 to Oldham.

But do factor in the A640, cracking road on a nice day. If you see a nice reservoir on a slight downhill descent - take heed! Don't enjoy it too much as there's a 90 degree left hander you've not spotted!

Sounds great! Hopefully I'll have a GoPro by then so I can vlog the journey, otherwise I'll have to find a way to stick a regular DSLR onto a bike

Just stick your phone to the chinbar with some tape.
Make sure it's high-vis reflective stuff for added style...
