Chin Mount ?

Another thing is surely it blocks air from the vents ? I'm going to have to have a play around

Depending on your helmet model and vent design, it is possible to still allow the vent to be open, but if you are going to be recording with that vent open, it's probably going to mess up the sound with a lot of wind noise, again depending on where you mount your microphone. For my case, the mic is mounted right behind the chin bar, directly in front of my mouth, so I have no option and to keep the vent closed. However if I'm not recording, I can open the vent.

I want to go chin mount but it will have to wait until i get a new helmet, I'm not modding this one!

If you wrapped the sides of it with the image of "something unsavory" I bet you'd get a lot more attention on the streets. LoL.

My chin vent in rubbish anyway... But loads of air gets in my helmet anyway as it was designed to be a very light flip front, 1350g

Was thinking of going chin mount with my go pro but not sure if its going annoy me up front so before i start taking my lid to bits ....any pros and cons ?

I love the chin mount. Stays out of the way.
