Chavs stole my bike

half 1 in the morning, hear a noise, look out the window, group of chavs sprinting down the road with my bike.

Being norris green in Liverpool, with its large amount of gang and gun crime, I chose not to chase after the bastards.

Last few days I'd been having some problems with the brakes, so hopefully their enjoyment at my expense comes to a sudden and painful stop for them.

police were in the area at the time (as usual because its a warzone) so were there in 15 minutes.

I've got third party fire and theft but not had chance to contact them yet till my lunch break.

Compulsory excess is probably worth more than the bike so i don't know if it's worth bothering to claim. Chances are if it's not burned out yet, it'll go past me at some point tonight. If I see it, I may try my luck at a drop kick lol

That sucks I hope the insurance works out ok, a friend of mine had his car stolen a few months ago and had some 'fun and games' with the insurance company, he got a good amount of money in the end, stick at them, don't let up until you get it.

Typical Liverpool. Really sorry to hear about this though, I hate chavs/neds, if that were me, I'd skin the bastards alive. Hope you get the most out of this situation.

Excess would be £850. Not gunna bother going through insurance as with the excess and my premium going up it wouldn't be worth it. I'm just gunna cut my losses and save for a new bike over the winter, hopefully I'll be living somewhere else by summer time with enough saved to start again.

shit man same thing happend to me on monday night dad woke me up at 2am to tell me my bike is gone im standing out on the road leaning agent a lamp post on the phone to the old bill and see 6 hooded chavs push my bike past the end of my road i couldent beleave it so chased arftert them police told me not to they ended up droping my bike and runing off.

they riped the clcoks out cut the speedo cable cut all the wires going to the cdi riped the headlight off =[
