Heard some good things about them!

Used to use a similar one to clean my bicycle chain, worked a treat.

Defo on my "to buy" list. Damn that's a good price, they're like 50 in the shops!

YEAH! :) That's why I'd share it with you guys, that website has LOADS of great stuff at good prices, I'm just glad I don't know where my wallet is haha I wouldn't have any money left otherwise haha

Thanks for posting this Squeeky - cleaning my chain is something I've been meaning to sort out and just not got round to that yet - looks like a really good solution.

Can't you just use kerosene in the unit instead of Muc-Off's cleaner?

I suppose you could providing it will fit the same way as the muc-off can. Unless it's a patented product therefore to make more profit and sales only their cans will fix onto the device.

Work a look I suppose.

Glad I could help, I'm in the exact same situation and I just had to share :)
Too good to keep to myself haha

I'd do the same with ACF50 - because it's something that on another forum is getting rave reviews for protecting your bike in completely crap weather, but I've only just applied it myself and I have no experience of not applying it, so it's a bit hard for me to say what effect it's having.

Thats £14.99

or

£5

WD40 will do for cleaning & degreasing the chain & then I would take the bike out on a quick 5-10 run & use a coat of chain wax over each link & rear tooth. You should oil the chain when the chains warm or hot, because it will grease the bearings & links better than it would if you where to just put it on cold.

ACF50 should last about 6months on the engine, but with Scotland's unpredictable weather, you may have to drop it to 3 or 4 months. It's a must over the winter periods. When people clean their bike they don't focus on the engine bolts or behind the starter motor, alot of salt can get kicked behind there which needs to be removed otherwise the ACF50 won't do what it's supposed to.

I think the 14.99 one is for bicycles, they're narrower than the motorbike ones.

The 5.99 brush though is something I've been looking for too so nice find again! :)

I like the lack of mess with the chain cleaner gadget, no need to use cardboard and news paper on the floor as most of it is collected in the bit underneath also seen normal chain lube used on the device too so shouldn't be proprietary fittings hopefully. :)

Ended up picking up the brush above for the same price as the ebay link in J&S accessories :) bargainsous, fingers crossed it'll help do things a little faster and better than my old toothbrush.
