Yep, just passed my Mod2 test as of this afternoon. I'm happy as Larry, and with my birthday coming up, I'm off out to celebrate

Thanks all. Much appreciated.

Smoothe? Moi? Thats unlikely to happen, lol.

L-Plates are "learner" plates, which must be shown on the front and back of a bike in UK if you have not passed the test to prove your competence on a bike. The rules on the type of bike you can ride while a learner are complicated, but essentially you can't ride a larger bike than 125cc and are not allowed to take a passenger nor ride on the motorway. To get the licence that allows you to buy and ride any bike, you need to pass your test on a bike that is at least 600cc.

So your on here aswell ;) well done on passing :) by any chance are you going to the bennetts live event at the manor cafe?

Thanks BST.

Been considering options for a bigger bike or scooter, but I just love this Piaggio Fly 125. It does everything I need a bike to do, it has the mpg I want and the storage for the commute, and it suits my Mediterranean roots.

Other than the sore backside after about 45 minutes. But I've just ordered a seat cushion from bumbags4bikers (or 3um3ags43ikers) which has some rave reviews and is about 30% cost of an airhawk.

I'll review it after I have used it for a bit - if anyone has any experience of this cushion or has an airhawk or a gel cushion and we could compare them, maybe we could do a shared vlog?

It did cross my mind. Then when I saw how thick the plastic was for the back one, I'd have probably set the house on fire or had the neighbours complain about dangerous poisonous emissions if I tried to do that.
