Stuff happens. You broke the law and got punished for it. Moral of the story, don't break the law. If you do break the law, take it like a man.
At least you were polite to the Police Officer. I see too many people fly off the handle at cops when they're blatantly in the wrong. It gets you in all kinds of trouble.
