Car Sun Roof, Left Open, Wet = Smelly

So long story short -

Left the sun roof open of the Celica...It got moist and now smells damp.

Yesterday I left the windows open to air it, and forgot to close them - wet again

The chairs now stink. Any tips for ditching the smell? Thankfully its supposed to be a dry day so I can leave it open all day!

Its bacteria that causes smells right? Anti material spray then Febreez?

Think that's going to be your best option.

Helmet sanitiser?

Perhaps ask a valeting company, they'll have a way and a means. Internal valet is usually only £20

This doesn't necessarily help you out right now, but one thing I learned when I lived in Portland, OR (also known for it's wet and rainy climate) is when you get those silica packets that come in electronics for example, take them and stash them in the corners of your car where water collects. IE driver side footwell. It helped keep the moisture and related smells down.

Best way to get the wet out is to put it in the sun on a hot dry day.... as far as the smell goes, if you dont get it dried quick your sunk.

I know all about the smell, I took my Jeep out 4x4ing one week end, roof off doors off, started raining.
I left the roof off for a couple of days to air out, but the smell lingered, long story short, get it professionally soaped and vacuumed inside and you should be good to go.
