Well crap. I posted this under the wrong post and only had 3 minutes to edit. Of course I didn't realize it until it was too late. Oh well. I did some more testing.
Here are some stats against the same Original GoPro RAW File 10.2GB 4K 60fps 10bit with 120,000,000kbps bitrate
capcut_70000_264.mp4 60fps bitrate 70000kbps Output File Size: 6.587 GB (bitrate customized)
capcut_85000_264.mp4 60fps bitrate 85000kbps Output File Size: 8.000 GB (bitrate customized)
handbrake_264.mp4 60fps bitrate 59000kbps Output File Size: 5.500 GB (self adjusting bitrate)
handbrake_265.mp4 60fps bitrate 26000kbps Output File Size: 2.420 GB (self adjusting bitrate)
davinci_265.mp4 60fps bitrate 70000kbps Output File Size: 6.555 GB (maxed every video quality setting possible)
capcut_265.mp4 60fps bitrate 45000kbps Output File Size: 4.269 GB (self adjusting bitrate)
Note:
No edits, just pure rendering with the wanted 4K 60fp settings.
265 on CapCut has no adjustment available on bitrate.
Original GoPro RAW File 10.2GB 4K 60fps 10bit with 120,000,000kbps bitrate
I'm currently downscaling video to 2.7k.
I wonder if there is any quality loss with going from 4k -> 2.7k when rendering vs just straight up recording 2.7K with the GoPro and rendering? Thoughts on this
