Can I Use My Intercom's Mic To Communicate & Record Audio To A Camera At The Same Time?

I don't even think I worded the question correctly, but hopefully you guys will understand what I'm trying to say :D

I removed my microphone from my helmet seeing as I'm done with motovlogging for the foreseeable future, but I recently acquired an intercom from a friend to talk to him and the rest of our group while we ride. The microphone/earphones is a separate unit from the intercom itself, they're connected and they plug into my intercom via a 3.5mm jack. That got me thinking, when the day comes that I'm able to buy a camera, will I be able to use a splitter of some sort to use the intercom and record audio at the same time?

Thanks in advance :D

one question i have is, is this intercom system bluetooth? if it is, and you get a camera with bt capability/GP10 (for GoPro), then yes you will be able to record and comm at the same time. i use the Sena Prism along with my 20S and it works great. however, if you would rather a wired mic to the camera, unfortunately i have no experience with this, then you should be able to split the mic. otherwise you could end up with 2 mics in your helmet. hope this helps at all
